August 2001: Walla Walla River looking north to

Tum-A-Lum Bridge, 2.25 miles below Nursery Bridge (where 18cfs were bypassed by irrigators).

This has traditionally been the driest point in the river.

August 2002: Walla Walla River from Tum-A-Lum Bridge looking south (25cfs were bypassed at Nursery Bridge). Vegetation is being allowed to grow to shade the water and help reduce the temperature.
