Walla Walla River Images

These images were taken August 15, 2000, between 14:00 hours and 18:00 hours using a FLIR and a Day TV video camera co-located in a gyro-stabilized mount attached to the underside of the helicopter.

FLIR/Day TV image pair (frame: wall3573) showing and unnamed tributary entering the South Fork of the

Walla Walla River (9.4°C) on the left bank at river mile 65.2. Due to the small channel width and intervening

vegetation, an accurate sample of the tributary’s temperature at its mouth could not be sampled.
