In 2002, Washington Department of Ecology (WDOE)
paid for thermal infrared (TIR) remote sensing survey flights of the basin
including: Touchet River, North Fork Touchet River, Mill Creek, and Yellowhawk
Creek. WDOE has a web page with links to all of the aerial thermal infrared surveys that WDOE has conducted in the Walla Walla basin. The page allows users to virtually "fly over" to look at the imagery along the rivers. Download the summary report about the 2002 survey work (3.2 MB, PDF) |
