Brian Wolcott, Coordinator of the Walla Walla Basin Watershed Council,
was honored by Umatilla
County for his work with watershed issues! The text of the resolution passed by the Umatilla County Board of Commissioners is as follows:
IN THE MATTER OF SELECTING AN EMPLOYEE FOR THE MONTH OF MARCH 2002 WHEREAS, Brian Wolcott began his
employment as Coordinator for Walla Walla Basin Watershed Council in the Fall of
1997. Brian's greatest assets include his integrity (he will go to great
lengths to insure things are fair to all parties involved), his honesty, and his
ability to instill trust in all of the partnerships he creates. From farmers
and irrigators to west side environmental lawyers, they all trust Brian to be
fair, straightforward and honest. His best skill is making people feel listened
to and getting information from them. He is a key person for information
getting shared in all the right places. Brian's dedication and hard work are
greatly appreciated and we are proud to present him with March's employee of the
