The logo for the Walla Walla Basin Watershed Council was designed to incorporate the various aspects of the watershed: the green mountains, the tan of the crops in late summer, and, of course, the water.  The logo was designed by Carol Poppenga, a local artisan and muralist in the Milton-Freewater area.  She volunteered her time and creative talents to generate the logo shown at the top of the page.  We are appreciative of Carol's work and are proud to display the logo on our letterhead and publications.  Thank you Carol for your great work and volunteer spirit!  Carol also designed and painted the mural at Marie Dorion Park that shows a cross section of the Walla Walla River.
